  NI Week - August, 2011  
  National Instruments hosted NIWeek, the industry's premier event on graphical system design that attracts more than 3,000 of the world's brightest engineers, educators, and scientists. NIWeek 2011, the company's 17th annual customer and technology conference, opened August 2 at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, Texas, for three days of interactive technical sessions, targeted summits, hands-on workshops, and exhibitions on the latest developments for design, control, automation, manufacturing, and test. The conference also featured keynote presentations and demonstrations that highlighted how engineers and scientists can use NI graphical system design to test, measure, and fix inefficient products and processes to improve everyday life.

 
  CLA Summit - February, 2011  
  The CLA Summit will take place on February 7th and 8th at National Instruments Corporate Headquarters. The summit is an exclusive gathering of Certified LabVIEW Architects. This year's theme for the CLA Summit is inter-process communication in LabVIEW. As LabVIEW has matured, many new options for inter-process communication have been introduced over the years, each bringing unique benefits. Rather than rehash a summary of all the options, the CLAs will explore and lead the discussion on design issues related to inter-process communication.

  • James achieved his LabVIEW Certified Architect (CLA) certification in November, 2010. James is currently preparing for his Teststand and LabWindows/CVI Developer certifications.
